I got to meet this family and photograph them with their newborn on the coldest, but sunniest winter day here in Barrie. Documenting them snuggled up with Lily in their sun drenched home kept everyone warm, and there was no shortage of love amongst them. This little one surprised her family by arriving early, and spent several weeks in the NICU before I got to photograph her with her loving parents which meant she was lively and had her eyes open for nearly the entirety of their session. She was so aware of her parents, and locked eyes with them in so many of the images we captured together.
