I’m so excited to share this Muskoka wedding with you! Jeff and Tristan got married on a warm sunny day at Jeff’s family cottage in Bala, Ontario. The cottage is in the heart of the Muskokas, tucked into the pine and hemlock trees with a stunning view of the lake.
The couple got ready for their wedding separately so that they could share a first look together—this was super important to them and I love how the first look photographs turned out. They then greeted their guests and made their way to the ceremony which was held under a wooden triangular archway at the water’s edge. It was an intimate ceremony and everyone was quite emotional.
After saying their vows and making it official, they hugged their friends and family. Everyone gathered at the beach and I hopped in a boat with a neighbour to get a very fun group photo of the couple with all of their wedding guests. Then everyone made their way to the beautifully decorated dining tent to celebrate the happy couple. We snuck out to enjoy sunset on the dock and popped some more champagne – Jeff could be an expert champagne popper. This wedding is high on the list of my favourite weddings I’ve photographed!
